Bathurst Glen is always looking for motivated, customer service orientated individuals to fill seasonal positions. 

We will be hosting open interviews for 2018 positions on Saturday February 17th and 24th from 10:00am - 2:00pm at the main clubhouse.  Please come with a copy of your resume and be prepared for a short interview. 

The following positions are available;


PRO SHOP COORDINATOR

Under the direction of the Clubhouse Supervisor, will assist in supervising clubhouse staff and coordinate the daily golf operations. Will oversee pro shop operations in the Clubhouse Supervisor's absence.


• Assist with the supervision off all Clubhouse Staff.

• Using excellent customer service skills establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and guests.
• Assist with sales training and sales development.
• Responsible for completing any required daily reports.
• Coordinate pro shop operations; includes scheduling work assignments, merchandise sales and inventory, and equipment rental.
• Perform or assist subordinates in performing daily responsibilities efficiently.
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
• Assist with merchandise inventory.
• Assist with scheduling of staff.
• Serve as a liaison to various golf associations, leagues, tournaments, teams; assist in coordinating events and activities at the golf course.
• Initiate and implement health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Respond to public inquires regarding golf lessons, rules, etiquette and tournaments.
• POS operation and Cash handling responsibilities.
• Any other duties as assigned.

PRO SHOP  / RANGE ATTENDANT

The position of pro shop attendant entails excellent customer service and sales skills. This job requires an interest in the game of golf and working with people.
Pro shop attendants must provide excellent customer service. They take reservations, rent out golf carts, collect greens fees, sell merchandise and assist in coordinating special events.
Work schedules may vary, so candidates should be able to work day, night and weekend/holiday shifts.
Candidates should know how the game of golf works, understand golf equipment and be able to use office equipment like cash registers/debit machines, telephones, computers, printers and fax machines.
Must have a valid Ontario drivers license. This job also requires you to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift and carry objects that could weigh up to 50 pounds.

 

 

BACK SHOP MAINTENANCE (part time)

The position of back shop attendant entails customer service and labour skills. This job requires an interest in the game of golf and working with people.
Back shop attendants must have excellent customer service skills. They collect and clean range balls, clean out and refuel golf carts, refill stock, and perform various sanitation duties.
Work schedules may vary, so candidates should be able to work day, night and weekend/holiday shifts.
Must have a valid Ontario drivers license. Candidates should also know how the game of golf works, understand golf equipment and be able to lift and carry objects that could weigh up to 50 pounds.

 

SNACK BAR ATTENDANT

The position of Snack bar attendant entails customer service and sales skills. This job requires a Smart Serve Certificate and an interest in the game of golf and working with people.
Snack bar attendants must provide excellent customer service. They take food and beverage orders, run the beverage cart and assist in coordinating special events.
Work schedules may vary, so candidates should be able to work day, night and weekend/holiday shifts.

Candidates be able to use equipment like cash registers/debit machines, telephones, and computers.

Must have a valid Ontario drivers license. This job also requires you to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift and carry objects that could weigh up to 50 pounds.

 

MAINTENANCE - COURSE & FACILITY

The position of maintenance staff entails customer service and labour skills. This job requires an interest in the game of golf and working outside.
Greens staff helps to provide an excellent customer experience. They perform various task associated with golf course and turf maintenance.
Work schedules may vary, so candidates should be able to work early mornings and weekend/holiday shifts.

Candidates should know how the game of golf works and be able to use equipment like riding mowers, line trimmers, utility vehicles and various other small tools. This job requires you to perform physical activities for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.

Must have a valid Ontario drivers license and be able to lift and carry objects that could weigh up to 50 pounds.

 

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS - MARSHALS & STARTERS

Marshalls and Starters must possess excellent customer service and sales skills. This job requires an interest in the game of golf and working with people. Candidates should understand the rules and etiquette of the game.
Work schedules may vary, so candidates should be able to work day, night and weekend/holiday shifts.
